Summer 2026 Newsletter
When the days grow long and the Russian River Valley settles into its golden rhythm, we know summer has truly arrived. The vines are lush and reaching, the gardens are at their most generous, and the estate comes alive in a way that invites you to slow down, gather, and stay a little longer. It is our favorite season to share with you, and we have been looking forward to it.
This summer, we have a full calendar of evenings and afternoons worth planning around. We hope you will join us for one, or all, of them.

Pinot & PAella
This summer, we are especially delighted to bring you two of the most beloved celebrations on the estate calendar. On June 21st, Pinot & Paella returns, an alfresco feast pairing the smoky warmth of a proper paella with the elegance of our Russian River Valley Pinot Noirs. It returns again in September for those who want a second chance, or simply cannot wait until fall to come back.
Pinot & Pizza
There is something about a summer evening beneath the redwoods, a wood-fired oven glowing, a glass of Pinot in hand, that makes the rest of the world fall away. Pinot & Pizza is the evening our guests return to again and again, not just for the wine and the food, but for the feeling. Join us in July and August, and settle in. There is always a place at the table for you.

proprietors dinner
On August 16th, the gates of Quail Hill Ranch open to welcome you for our Proprietors Dinner, an intimate alfresco gathering on the eve of harvest. As the vines stand at their fullest just days before harvest, you will gather by the pool, hear the story of the growing year, and feel the quiet electricity of a season on the verge of becoming something extraordinary.
Recently Featured in Forbes

We were deeply moved to be featured recently in Forbes, in a piece by writer Cathrine Todd that told the story of Quail Hill Vineyard with the kind of care and depth it truly deserves. For those of us who walk these vines every day, it means the world to see the vineyard’s legacy reflected so beautifully.
Todd writes that visitors to Lynmar “should never forget how fortunate they are to be tasting wines from one of the legendary Pinot Noir vineyards of the Russian River Valley,” and that Quail Hill is quietly esteemed the way the great Burgundian vineyards once were, before the world caught up with what the locals already knew. We are grateful that you, our community, have known that all along.
Last Chance: Spring Collector’s Lunch

Chef David’s current menu is one of the most inspired he has created, and it will not be with us much longer. If you have been meaning to join us at Quail Hill Vineyard for the Collector’s Lunch Pairing, this is your moment.
From warm popcorn dusted with Tarocco blood orange and French tarragon salt alongside our Adam’s Vineyard Chardonnay, to grilled herbed tenderloin of lamb paired with the Monastery Pinot Noir, to a final flourish of strawberry-ricotta cake with our Rosé de Blancs Sparkling, every course reflects the full bounty of the estate in its summer prime. Nearly every ingredient, from the blood oranges and strawberries to the olive oil and edible flowers, comes from our own gardens and orchards. It is the kind of lunch that reminds you why you fell in love with this place.
Terroir & Tenure
This year, we mark a milestone that fills us with genuine pride and deep gratitude. More than 1,200 members of the Lynmar Advocates Club are celebrating their tenth year with us, a tenure that spans harvests and vintages, seasons of abundance and seasons of patience, and countless bottles shared around tables that matter.
We call this milestone Terroir & Tenure, because the two are inseparable. Just as the vines deepen their roots over time, drawing complexity and character from everything the land holds, so too does a decade of membership carry its own kind of depth. To each of you reaching this anniversary this year, thank you for choosing to grow with us.
And if you have ever considered joining the Advocates Club, there has never been a better time. Learn more about membership here.
