Green Onion Flan

Makes: 1 each 9” Flan Ring or Tart Pan.

Instructions

  1. Cook the onions slowly in the oil in a large pan until softened.
  2. Beat the eggs thoroughly into the fromage blanc and the cream.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Add onions and a pinch of fresh thyme (optional).
  5. Pour into a pre-rolled tart shell with crimped edges (to hold filling).
  6. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
