September 2026 Release

Dearest Advocates,

We spent a beautiful summer welcoming many of you to the estate, and thinking of the rest of you from afar. As the seasons shift, this release is how we celebrate together, and after such a long wait, it’s our most exciting one yet: three 2023 wines, each rooted in a different piece of the estate.

Quail Hill, Adam’s, Susanna’s, and Hessel Station all lend their fruit to the Family Ranches Pinot Noir, a blend that captures the range of the whole estate. The Susanna’s Vineyard Chardonnay, meanwhile, comes from a single twenty-acre site, one of the rare spots where the Green Valley, Russian River Valley, and Sonoma Coast appellations converge. The Summit Block Pinot Noir narrows further still, drawn from one block within Quail Hill Vineyard, where a band of red clay beneath the Goldridge soils gives its Calera clone fruit a distinct character.

You, our Advocates, are the reason we get to make wines like these, and your trust means everything to us.

As an added bonus, we are pleased to offer first access to a rare addition this season: the 2023 Five Sisters. Handcrafted from just five barrels of our finest Pinot Noir and made only in exceptional vintages, this wine is a tribute to the sibling bond of Lynn Fritz’s five daughters. With only 113 cases produced, this add-on opportunity is available exclusively to members when you customize your fall release.

Thank you for your continued loyalty. We look forward to many more seasons of celebrating together!

Warmly,

The Lynmar Estate Team

Pairing Suggestions and Recipes

To explore the synergy of land and table, Estate Chef David Frakes invites you to enjoy these pairings specifically tailored for your wine collection:

The 2023 Summit Block Pinot Noir is a natural match for Rib Roast. The wine’s fine-grained tannins and lifted acidity stand up to the richness of the beef and cut through the horseradish cream, while its notes of graphite and forest floor echo the dish’s savory, roasted character.

The 2023 Family Ranches Pinot Noir pairs well with Moroccan-Style Stuffed Acorn Squash. The wine’s baking spice and bright strawberry echo the cumin-spiced stuffing, while its plush finishing tannins balance the sweetness of the raisins and brown sugar glaze on the squash.

The 2023 Susanna’s Vineyard Chardonnay is elevated by Octopus with Sauce Kerkennaise. The wine’s bright acidity cuts through the richness of the olive oil-based sauce, while its soft texture keeps pace with the sauce’s warm blend of paprika, cumin, coriander and turmeric.

As always, Chef David reminds us that the seasoning or sauces of a dish may be modified to balance the wine by adjusting salt, acid, and other reactive ingredients.
